Apple Valley, CA – Amanda Hinman Killed in Fatal Head-On Crash on Bear Valley Rd

Apple Valley, CA (April 15, 2019) On the afternoon of April 14^th, a fatal head-on crash happened on Bear Valley Road near Deep Creek Road. The reports reveal that a gray Toyota Sienna was headed eastbound when it veered to the left and crossed into the opposite lane, crashing head-on into a white Chevrolet Blazer. The impact of the crash also caused the Toyota to crash into a white Nissan Rogue. This dangerous collision occurred at around 2:00 p.m.

When the ambulance arrived to help, they found a 28-year-old named Amanda Hinman dead at the crash site. They found the driver of the Toyota suffering from major injuries and called a helicopter to transport the injured victim to Loma Linda University Medical Center for immediate treatment. They took the driver of the Chevrolet to St. Mary Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. They also took the driver of the Nissan to the same hospital for treatment, while the passengers in the Nissan received treatment for minor injuries.

Officials are currently investigating the deadly crash to figure out why the Toyota veered into oncoming traffic.
