Apple Valley, CA – Motorcycle and ATV Crash Injures 3 on Caribou Avenue Near Wren St.
Apple Valley, CA (March 26, 2019) – A motorcycle and an ATV collided around 12:35 a.m. on Monday. The crash left three with serious injuries on Caribou Avenue, near Wren Street.
Police Sergeant Matthew D. Griffith reported that the motorcycle driver sideswiped the ATV, which carried both a driver and a rider. The impact of the crash flipped the ATV over, throwing the driver and rider from the vehicle. Neither the driver of the ATV or the rider wore helmets.
Two medical helicopters were called to transport two of the victims that suffered critical injuries. The other victim was taken by ambulance to a local trauma center. It is not known whether both occupants of the ATV or one occupant and the motorcyclist are the ones critically injured.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
