Apple Valley, CA – Two-Vehicle Accident Takes Place on Rock Springs Road near Kiowa Road
Apple Valley, CA (July 19, 2018) – Local news sources reported that a two-vehicle accident took place on Rock Springs Road in the vicinity of Kiowa Road. The incident occurred at approximately 5:31 PM in the afternoon on Thursday, July 19, 2018. Based on initial reports, a red Chevy Cavalier and a silver sedan were traveling down Rock Springs Road and collided for indeterminate reasons. Afterward, the Apple Valley Fire Protection District and paramedics were dispatched to the crash site and found a male driver and his female passenger trapped inside the wreckage of the Chevy. Officials later utilized the Jaws of Life to extract the victims.
Later, the man was transported via air ambulance to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and the woman was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center to receive treatment.
Meanwhile, the sedan driver was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center.
Presently, the physical conditions of all three patients have not been disclosed to public sources.
Later, authorities blocked Rock Springs Road near the junction with Kiowa.
Investigators are currently looking into possible causes for the accident.
