Arvin, CA – 56-Year-Old Eloy Lopez-Jimenez Killed in Traffic Collision

Arvin, CA (January 14, 2019) On the 12^th of January, 56-year-old Eloy Lopez-Jimenez died in a traffic collision at approximately 5:52 p.m. According  to the reports, Lopez-Jimenez was driving a black Chevy pickup truck on Wheeler Ridge Road when a truck in front of him slower down to make a turn. Unfortunately, Lope-Jimenez was unable to brake in time before rear-ending the two-axle International fertilizer applicator rig.

When emergency crews arrived at the scene to help, they found Lopez-Jimenez dead at the scene. The other truck driver was unharmed in this collision.

Authorities are currently investigating this accident to determine causation and liability.
