At Least 1 Person Seriously Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash on Highway 99 in Galt
(June 13, 2018) According to California Highway Patrol, three vehicles crashed into each other Wednesday morning around 7:44 a.m. The large collision took place on Route Highway 99 northbound at Walnut Avenue. Reports have stated that a silver Toyota Camry, a white Toyota Prius, and a white utility Chevrolet pickup truck were all involved in the crash.
Paramedics arrived on the scene after the driver of the pickup truck called authorities to report that his truck had been rear-ended. All three vehicles were reportedly in the center divider at the time of the call. It is currently uncertain how many people were injured in the accident, but it has been verified that at least one person was hospitalized for their injuries.
An investigation into the crash is currently ongoing in order to determine who may have been at fault. Determining if there was a negligent driver is crucial when it comes time for the victims to pursue legal action if they wish. At this time, we have nothing but sympathy for everyone involved, and we wish for a fast and safe recovery for all those who may have been injured in this crash.
