Tractor-Trailer Accidents in California
361 fatalities were caused by accidents with tractor-trailers and other large trucks in California in 2017, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration reported. The size and weight difference between cars and large commercial trucks place cars in a vulnerable situation. When crashes with large trucks occur, it is the driver and passengers in a smaller vehicle who are most likely to suffer.
