Auburn, CA – Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on Interstate 80
Auburn, CA – (December 4, 2018) – A traffic accident involving a motorcyclist took place Sunday afternoon on Interstate 80 near the Douglas Boulevard off-ramp. The accident happened at approximately 1:15 pm on December 2nd.
According to the initial report, a motorcyclist, a black Honda Civic, a silver Honda car, a gray Ford Escapade, and a BMW were heading eastbound on Interstate 80 approaching the Douglas Boulevard off-ramp, when for unknown reasons, they violently collided. Emergency personnel immediately responded to the scene, where they discovered the motorcycle rider lying on the roadway. Paramedics stabilized the rider before transporting the victim to a local hospital for treatment. The conditions of other parties involved in the accident remain unclear. As of now, the detectives handling the case continue to work to determine exactly what triggered the collision.
