Auburn, CA – One Injured in Head-On Collision on Base Line Road

Auburn, CA (July 15, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported an injurious head-on collision that transpired on Saturday afternoon in Auburn. The crash that involved two vehicles occurred in the vicinity of Base Line Road and Brewer Road at approximately 1:57 p.m.

The report released by the California Highway Patrol stated that the two vehicles involved were a tan Toyota Camry and a white Chevrolet. The two vehicles, unfortunately, met in a head-on collision for reasons that have not yet been verified. The impact of the accident reportedly sent one of the vehicles involved off the road and into a ditch.

Emergency responder promptly arrived on the scene in order to attend to any injured parties. One of the occupants in one of the vehicles apparently sustained unknown injuries and had to be immediately transported to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment. The name and precise condition of that victim are presently unknown.

No more information into the cause of this accident has been made available at this time. Authorities are currently conducting a full investigation into the events that led to this collision in an effort to determine liability.
