Drunk Driving in California
At this time we would like to extend our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of the one known victim of this terrible car accident. We know this is a heartbreaking time for everyone involved. Â
Those who choose to drink and then get behind the wheel of a car represent a very serious threat to public safety. This is especially true among the age group of 18 to 24-year-olds for whom the leading cause of death is impaired driving on California roadways. Car accident fatalities where a blood alcohol level greater than .08% was a factor increased by 16.3% from 2015 to 2016.
If you or someone that you care for has been injured in a car accident where a drunk driver was at fault then the law states that you are entitled to be reimbursed for certain damages. Those damages include medical bills, therapy bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering just to name a few.
