Bakersfield, CA- Major Injuries After Semi-Truck Hits CHP Car on Interstate 5
Bakersfield, CA (June 13, 2019)- An accident involving a semi-truck and a California Highway Patrol vehicle caused major injuries on Interstate 5 close to “the Grapevine” canyon.
The crash occurred early Thursday morning when the CHP car hit the back of the semi-truck. The impact of the crash rammed the patrol vehicle under the trailer.
Paramedics and local firefighters extricated one victim from the damage. Details on the victim’s current status are unavailable.
