Bakersfield, CA – Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle On East 3rd Street
Bakersfield, CA – (November 19, 2018 ) – A fatal pedestrian accident occurred on Monday in the area of East 3rd street and Union Avenue. The accident was reported at approximately 9:48 pm. Details identifying the people involved in the accident have not been released by authorities.
Per the initial report, a man identified as a Hispanic man in his 50’s, was struck by a vehicle while walking outside of a crosswalk between East 3rd street and Union Avenue. Responding officers confirmed, the collision resulted in fatal trauma to the pedestrian, who sadly died at the crash site. Meanwhile, the driver and the passenger in the vehicle involved both remained at the accident scene and complied with the investigation as obliged by California law. Liability in the deadly collision is still being determined.
