Bakersfield, California – Driver Dead after Deadly Traffic Accident on Interstate 5 Freeway
Bakersfield, California (July 5, 2018) – Bakersfield local news sources reported that a deadly traffic accident occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway near the Lerdo Highway. The incident happened at approximately 12:30 AM in the early morning of Thursday, July 5, 2018. Authorities have not revealed any detailed information concerning the identities of the drivers that died during the brutal crash at this time.
Based on the reports, one vehicle was traveling the wrong way down Interstate 5 when, without warning, the driver slammed into a second oncoming vehicle. Based on additional sources, the culprit was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes.
