Barstow, CA – Three People Hospitalized after Collision between Car and Tractor Trailer on Northbound 15 Freeway

Barstow, CA (August 23, 2018) – A local news source reported that three people required hospitalization as the result of a collision involving a car and tractor-trailer that took place along the northbound lanes of the 15 Freeway, in the vicinity of the Lenwood Road on-ramp. Sometime later, emergency crews were dispatched to the crash site and found the female driver, a 31-year old man, and another woman pinned inside the wreckage. Afterward, firefighters successfully extracted the victims, who were transported via air ambulance to a nearby hospital.

As part of rescue and cleanup operations, authorities blocked the freeway’s northbound lanes.
