Bell, CA- Fatal Motorcycle Crash on 710 Fwy at Florence Ave

Bell, CA (June 17, 2019)- The California Highway Patrol reported a motorcycle crash at approximately 2:15 pm Sunday.

According to the CHP, the crash happened on 710 Freeway southbound on the ramp to Florence Avenue. The motorcyclist crashed with a Toyota Sienna minivan for reasons unknown. The force of the crash caused the motorcyclist to be ejected from the bike.

He died at the crash site. His name is being withheld pending family notification.

The driver and passenger in the Sienna, both Bell residents, did not receive serious injuries in the crash.

An investigation into the crash is underway. Anyone with information is asked to call the CHOP’s East LA-area office at 323-980-4600.
