Belmont, CA – 1 Injured in 5-Car Collision on Highway 101

Belmont, CA (May 16, 2019) On the 16^th of May, a multi-vehicle accident happened on Highway 101, not far from Ralston Avenue off-ramp. About five vehicles collided, which included a red Mazda and a gray Chevrolet Corvette.

When the ambulance arrived, they found at least one person seriously injured as a result of the crash. They immediately tended to the victim and transferred them to a nearby hospital for further care.

Tow trucks dispatched to the scene to assist with removing the damaged vehicles off of the highway.

Authorities are investigating to determine which driver will be held liable for the major accident.
