Berkeley, CA – 1 Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Sacramento St

Berkeley, CA (May 30, 2019) On the evening of May 29^th, a pedestrian accident happened at the intersection of Sacramento Street and Fairview Street. A vehicle struck a pedestrian at the intersection for unknown reasons at 9:00 p.m.

When the paramedics arrived to help, they found the injured pedestrian lying in the roadway and immediately tended to the victim. They transported him to a nearby hospital for immediate medical treatment.

Crews shut down Sacramento Street between Woolsey Street, 66^th Street, and Harmon Street as authorities investigated the major crash.
