Berkley, CA – Injuries Sustained in Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 80 near Ashby Avenue
Berkeley, CA – (November 20, 2018) – Injuries were sustained in a multi-vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday morning on a freeway in Berkeley. The collision took place at approximately 9:38 am just east of Ashby Avenue, also known as Highway 13.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Hyundai Elantra, a motorcycle and two other vehicles were traveling westbound on Highway 13 when they suddenly collided into one another. Emergency crews rushed to the crash site and rendered aid to an unspecified number of individuals who sustained injuries in the accident. The Hyundai and the motorcycle were towed away with crash damage as evidence. Authorities are still trying to determine the probable cause of the accident.
