Bicyclist Dies from Brutal Collision and DUI Accident in Sacramento

Sacramento, California (June 21, 2018) – Local news reported that a bicyclist was killed in a brutal collision and DUI accident that took place near the Natomas Community Center on Truxle Road at 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 16, 2018. The deceased has been identified as 41-year old Amar Askhra, while no further details about the motorist who struck him have been revealed.

Sources explained that Askhra was driving his bike down Truxle Road when, without warning, he collided with an oncoming vehicle of an as-of-yet-undisclosed model. The bicyclist suffered traumatic injuries as a result of the impact, and, despite several days’ worth of treatment, Askhra tragically passed away at the hospital.
