Big Pine, CA. Pedestrian Injured After Being Struck by Vehicle on Highway 395 at Crocker Avenue

Big Pine, CA. (July 2, 2018) – According to the California Highway Patrol, a 41-year-old woman was the victim of a pedestrian crash on Highway 395 at Crocker Avenue Monday morning. The woman suffered injuries as a result of the accident at the intersection in Big Pine. The accident occurred at approximately 9:49 a.m. while the woman was attempting to cross the street.

Emergency responders and paramedics were quick to arrive on the scene to assist the victim. The woman reportedly had to be immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment of what appear to be relatively minor injuries at this time. There is an investigation currently being conducted in order to determine if the female pedestrian of the driver of the vehicle that struck her will be considered liable.
