Blythe, CA – John Simpson Killed in Fatal Head-On Collision on I-10 Freeway
Blythe, CA (March 14, 2019) – On the 6th of March, a fatal head-on collision happened on Interstate 10, at South Broadway, at 7:57 p.m. According to the reports, a Ford F-150 was traveling eastbound in the wrong lane when it crashed head-on into a Honda Civic.
When the paramedics arrived, they found the driver of the Honda Civic suffering from major injuries and transported the injured victim to a nearby hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, the passenger in the Honda Civic, 47-year-old John Simpson, died at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck suffered from minor injuries.
The police are currently investigating the accident, but so far, the driver revealed that he fell asleep behind the wheel.
