Boulevard, CA – Rollover Accident on 8 Freeway Leads to One Fatality

Boulevard, CA (February 6, 2019) – Late Tuesday evening, a rollover accident took place on the 8 Freeway when snowy conditions were coating the roads at 10:55 p.m.

Police responded to the accident, which took place near the intersection of Crestwood Road and Live Oak Springs. At the time, a vehicle had been involved in an accident and flipped over, landing on its side. A female occupant was trapped under the vehicle.

Several people pulled over immediately when they noticed the accident and some called 911. Various emergency responders were called to the scene of the accident and paramedics performed life-saving procedures on the woman. However, the woman was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

Police shut down the road in the area so that they could continue their investigation. They believe that bad weather conditions might have contributed to the accident.
