Boyle Heights, CA – Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash at Fairmount Street and Evergreen Avenue
Boyle Heights, CA – (November 19, 2018) – A man was struck and killed by a vehicle on Sunday evening in Boyle Heights. The crash was reported at the intersection of Fairmount Street and Evergreen Avenue at about 5:14 pm on November 18th.
According to police, a man was walking in a crosswalk at the intersection of Fairmount Street and Evergreen Avenue when he was suddenly struck by an oncoming vehicle. Emergency crews rushed to the crash site and transported the victim to County USC Medical Center for treatment, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. It is unclear if the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with police. Authorities are still trying to determine the events leading up to this deadly accident.
At this time, this crash remains under investigation.
