Boyle Heights, CA – Victor Perez Killed in Pedestrian Crash at Fairmount Street and Evergreen Avenue
Boyle Heights, CA – (November 23, 2018) – Victor Armas Perez has been identified as the 72-year-old pedestrian who was fatally struck by a vehicle Sunday evening in Boyle Heights. The deadly accident took place around 5:15 pm on November 18th at Fairmount Street and Evergreen Avenue.
According to the Los Angeles police, Perez was attempting to cross the street in a crosswalk located between Fairmount Street and Evergreen Avenue, when he was struck by a vehicle. Emergency personnel rushed to the scene and paramedics attempted to stabilize Perez before transporting him to County USC Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries and died. No details were provided on the driver or the vehicle involved. Authorities are still trying to piece together the events that transpired prior to the collision.
