Brentwood, CA – Three Injured in Head-On Collision on Highway 4 and Lone Tree

Brentwood, CA (July 15, 2018) – Two vehicles overturned injuring at least three people as the result of a head-on collision that occurred early Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. The collision reportedly took place in the eastbound lanes of Highway 4 and Lone Tree at approximately 3:11 a.m.

The report released by the California Highway Patrol stated that emergency responders arrived on the scene in order to assist anyone who may have been injured during the crash. Crews reportedly had to extricate one individual from one of the overturned vehicles following the collision. One of the victims involved was apparently transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, while the other two victims were hospitalized with injuries that were classified as moderate.

There was no more information made available in regards to the names and specific conditions of those who were hurt. Additionally, there is currently no word as to how this collision occurred or the events that led up to it. The California Highway Patrol is presently in charge of the investigation into the cause of the crash in order to establish liability.
