Buellton, CA – Major Injuries Reported in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 101
Buellton, CA (March 3, 2019) – A motorcycle crash occurred on Highway 101 around 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, March 3rd. The rider was attempting to pass in between two cars traveling in the northbound lanes near the Three Bridges area.
Both southbound lanes and the left-hand northbound lane were shut down after the accident
Santa Barbara County firefighters quickly responded to the accident, and a Calstar medical helicopter was sent to the scene. The victim, a man in his 30s, was immediately taken to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with serious injuries. His condition is unknown at this time.
