Buena Park, CA – Hit-and-Run Crash Injures Pedestrian on Valley View Road and Los Feliz Drive

Buena Park, CA (July 20, 2018) – A male pedestrian was walking through the Albertson’s parking lot at the intersection of Valley View Road and Los Feliz Drive when he was struck by a motorist, according to a report filed by the Buena Park Police Department. The accident that occurred between a pedestrian and a vehicle that police believe to be a white Toyota Camry reportedly took place at approximately 12:35 a.m.

The victim of the crash apparently sustained serious injuries that left him unconscious at the scene. However, police reported that the driver who struck the man did not stop to offer assistance, but fled the scene instead. Emergency responders arrived promptly in order to attend to the victims’ wounds. Paramedics immediately transported the injured man to UCI Medical Center in Orange to receive treatment for his injuries.

No further information has been provided in terms of the events that led to this accident. The victims’ identity is also being withheld as his condition is unknown at this time. Police are presently searching for the suspected hit-and-run driver while investigating all the circumstances surrounding the accident.
