Byron, CA – At Least One Injured in Two-Car Collision on Byron Highway
Byron, CA (March 10, 2019) – A two-vehicle crash took place on County Highway J4 at Bruns Road in Contra Costa County Saturday night, March 9th.
One of the drivers retained major injuries in the collision, which took place at 8:06 p.m., about four miles southeast of Byron and near Clifton Court Forebay.
The crash was between a Hyundai Elantra and a Lexus sedan. A witness of the accident stated that one of the cars was trying to pass on the two-lane highway and hit the oncoming vehicle.
The driver who suffered major injuries was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The road was closed in both directions until 9:50 p.m.
