Cactus City, CA – One Killed and One Injured on 10 Freeway in Fatal Crash

Cactus City, CA (January 28, 2019) – On Sunday, January 27, police reported that one person was killed and another was injured in an accident on the 10 Freeway in Cactus City. The accident took place between two vehicles.

Police responded to the area just east of Coachella to find that a vehicle had been involved in an accident and rolled for reasons that are not yet known. The accident took place around 3:30 a.m. between Dillon Road and Highway 177.

Paramedics immediately came to the scene and attended to two occupants of the rolled over vehicle. One person was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene and another was seriously injured, though their names have not yet been released.

The person who received injuries was taken to the hospital and listed in serious condition. No other details have been released and police continue their investigation into the accident at this time.
