Cajon Pass, CA – 57-Year-Old Gabriel Garcia Rios Dies After Rollover Crash In Cajon Pass

Cajon Pass, CA (March 2, 2019) – A rollover crash led to the death of a driver and injuries to his passengers. The accident took place on Friday, March 1, at 10:14 a.m. The vehicle was traveling on the northbound I-15 freeway, around a half mile south of Oak Hill Road.

57-year-old Gabriel Garcia Rios, from Hesperia, was taken to the hospital but, unfortunately, did not survive and was pronounced deceased at 11:20 a.m.

The overturned red Ford Explorer injured two occupants when the crash occurred.

The official cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
