Cajon Pass, CA – Multi-Vehicle Collision Causes Injuries in Two on I-15

Cajon Pass, CA (January 27, 2019) – Police responded to a multi-vehicle collision on I-15 on Saturday afternoon that led to injuries in two people and involved at least three vehicles. Police also say that a semi-truck was involved in the accident.

At the time, police reported that a Chevy Caprice was driving recklessly at high speeds and weaving through traffic. The Chevy then crashed into the semi-truck and a silver SUV about one mile north of Highway 138.

Paramedics responded to the accident around 3:20 p.m. and found two people with injuries. One of the victims was reportedly flown to the hospital with a variety of severe injuries. The other person was taken to the hospital by ambulance. No names have been released at this time.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident at this time.
