Car Accident at Oleander Avenue and Compton Boulevard Proves Fatal

According to NBC News, one person died after a collision on Monday evening, June 11. The crash occurred near Oleander Avenue and Compton Boulevard in Compton. Reportedly, a Lexus SUV crashed into the back of a flatbed truck, and the exact reason is still under investigation. Officials who reported on the accident have stated that the driver of the SUV died from a fatal blow due to the impact of the crash. The name of the driver who died is being withheld until loved ones can be notified.

It is still unclear if the truck was parked or moving at the time of the crash, but the driver of the truck was apparently unharmed. An investigation into whether or not the driver was moving is still being conducted.
