Car Accident in San Jose Results in Injuries

(June 24, 2018) – A two-car motor vehicle accident in San Jose ended with minor injuries Saturday evening. Reportedly, the accident happened at approximately 5:08 p.m. late Saturday afternoon. The crash occurred on Highway 101, in the northbound lanes at the Interstate 880 Freeway connector. Emergency crews who responded to the accident located a red sedan and a black Audi Escort that were apparently involved in the crash.

According to officials on the scene, the airbags had been deployed in the red sedan, and minor injuries were reported as a result of the collision. Prior to the roadway being cleared, both vehicles were reportedly blocking the number one lane of the highway. No further information has been made available, and investigators are currently working to determine the cause of the accident.
