Car Crash on 15 Freeway in Lake Elsinore

Lake Elsinore, CA (June 17, 2018) – According to a local and reliable news source, a motor vehicle accident occurred in the area of 15 Freeway and Hostettler Road in Lake Elsinore. The crash happened around 3:45 p.m. Saturday afternoon just short of the Lake Street exit. Two people were injured during the accident.

California Highway Patrol stated that the one-car crash occurred for unknown reasons. According to initial reports, a gray sedan overturned and rolled over off the freeway and down onto Hostettler Road. Riverside County Fire Department immediately responded to the accident and began attending to the two injured victims. One victim was reportedly trapped inside the vehicle after the crash.

The victim who was trapped was removed from the wreck with a broken arm, while the other victim was easily able to walk away with merely minor injuries. One victim was air-lifted to a local hospital. Authorities are currently investigating the nature of the crash in order to determine liability. We wish both victims of this crash a safe and healthy recovery.
