Car Crashes and Rolls Over After Collision with Tractor-Trailer in Long Beach

June 14, 2018. The California Highway Patrol reported a black Kia Sorrento that had overturned after it crashed into a semi-tractor trailer Wednesday night. According to reports, the crash happened at approximately 8:27 p.m. last night on the Interstate 710 Freeway near the 91 Freeway. The impact of the accident left the black SUV on its roof. The overturned vehicle blocked all traffic in the number 3 lane I-710.

Although the California Highway Patrol report does state exactly what caused the crash to occur, paramedics were verified to have been at the scene shortly after the accident. The person who called 911 to report the crash stated that paramedics, as well as several other people, were standing in the lanes before the police arrived. There is currently no word as to the extent of injuries nor how many people were hurt. While the specifics are lacking, injuries are believed to be moderate to severe.
