Carlsbad, CA – One Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Crash at Airport Boulevard

Carlsbad, CA (February 1, 2019) – Police reported that one person was injured in a multi-vehicle crash on the southbound 5 Freeway at Airport Boulevard around 3:18 p.m.

The accident took place on Thursday in the area of Carlsbad in the southbound lanes. Four vehicles collided for reasons that are not yet known. An ambulance was sent to the scene to take care of all injured parties.

Police say that one person received the most serious injuries and was taken to the hospital but their name has not yet been released. Tow trucks were called to the scene of the accident to remove vehicles involved in the crash.

Police continue their investigation into the accident at this time.
