Carlsbad, CA – Person Pinned under Vehicle after Pedestrian Accident on Carlsbad Avenue

Carlsbad, CA (September 4, 2018) – The Carlsbad Police Department reported that a person was pinned under a vehicle as the result of a pedestrian accident that took place on the 4600 block of Carlsbad Avenue. The collision occurred a little after 7:00 PM on Monday, September 3, 2018. At this time, no detailed information concerning the identities of the two pedestrians and the motorist involved in the crash has been revealed.

According to the police report, two people were attempting to walk across Carlsbad Avenue when, for indeterminate reasons, an oncoming vehicle plowed into one of them. As a result of the impact, the victim was trapped underneath the vehicle.
