Carmel By the Sea, CA – Motorcycle Accident at Highway 1 and Handley Drive

Carmel By the Sea, CA (January 24, 2019) – The California Highway Patrol responded to a motorcycle accident that ended in injuries at the intersection of Highway 1 and Handley Drive.

The crash took place around 2:53 p.m. A Honda motorcycle and a gray-colored sedan collided with one another for reasons that are not yet known at this time.

The motorcyclist was left with serious injuries and taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment. Both vehicles were so badly damaged that they had to be towed from the scene. Lanes were closed down temporarily while authorities gather details relating to the accident in their investigation.
