Castro Valley, CA – Car Accident on 5th Street Leads to Injuries in One

Castro Valley, CA (February 3, 2019) – A car accident took place on 5^th Street in the area of Knox Street last evening, February 2. One person was injured in the accident.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the accident around 4:30 p.m. to find that two vehicles had collided with one another. The reason for the accident is still being under investigation, but it took place near the intersection of the area.

One person who was identified as a driver in one of the vehicles was taken to the hospital with a variety of injuries but they are expected to fully recover.

At this time, police continue their investigation of the accident.
