Castro Valley, CA – Pedestrian Injured in Accident at Pinehurst Road
Castro Valley, CA – (December 10, 2018) – According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle crashed into a pedestrian Sunday morning at an intersection in Castro Valley. The accident took place at approximately 10:37 am on December 9th at Pinehurst and Redwood Roads.
Per the initial report, a pedestrian was attempting to cross the street in the area of Pinehurst and Redwood Roads when an oncoming motorcycle failed to stop and struck the victim.  Paramedics were dispatched to the scene where they stabilized the injured pedestrian before transporting the victim to a local hospital for treatment. Officials did not disclose the extent of the injuries sustained in the accident. Police are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the sequence of events that led up to the accident.
