Castro Valley, CA – Three Vehicles Collide along Westbound 580 Freeway near 238 Freeway

Castro Valley, CA (July 18, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported that a collision involving three vehicles took place along the westbound lanes of the 580 Freeway near the 238 Freeway. The incident occurred at approximately 5:51 PM in the late afternoon on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. Authorities have not revealed any detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the crash at this time.

CHP reported that three vehicles were traveling down the 580 Freeway and, at one point, collided for indeterminate reasons. Afterward, rescue teams were dispatched to the crash site and discovered the vehicles had slid into the right shoulder of the freeway.
