Chico, CA – Bryan Zuniga Injured in Head-on Collision on Meridian Road

Chico, CA (February 20, 2019) – 26-year-old Bryan Zuniga was injured in a head-on collision that took place on Meridian Road yesterday morning, February 19. The California Highway Patrol was called to the scene to investigate.

Police say that the accident took place around 7:50 a.m., near Bell Road. A 35-year-old female had been traveling northbound when her vehicle suddenly drifted into another lane of traffic. This caused her Volkswagen to collide head-on with the pickup truck that Zuniga had been driving.

Zuniga and the female driver sustained major injuries and both were transported to the hospital by paramedics for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.

Meridian Road was closed for quite some time while police investigated. The investigation continues.
