Chico, CA- Man Dead After Motorcycle Hits Woodchipper on Centerville Rd
Chico, CA (June 4, 2019)- A fatal motorcycle accident occurred on Monday at approximately 10:56 am on Centerville Road in Chico.
The California Highway Patrol reported that a Harley Davidson motorcycle driven southbound on Centerville Road by a 27-year-old Chico resident crashed into the left front-side of a wood chipper being towed in the northbound lanes by a Dodge pickup.
43-year-old Chico resident Arnulfo Escajedo was driving the pickup when the crash occurred. He was unharmed in the accident. However, the motorcyclist was killed.
The motorcyclist’s identity has not been released pending family notification.
The crash is under investigation by authorities.
