Chula Vista, CA – Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Broadway and F Streets

Chula Vista, CA (February 9, 2019) – Police reported that a motorcycle accident involving a motor vehicle took place yesterday morning around 6 a.m. in Chula Vista that left one dead.

The accident happened in the area of Broadway and F Street, according to responding police.  54-year-old man had allegedly been riding his motorcycle northbound on Broadway. He went through the intersection on a green light, which is when he collided with a vehicle that was making a left turn at the intersection.

Emergency crews immediately responded to the accident, which is when they found the victim off of his motorcycle and lying in the roadway. He was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Two occupants in the other vehicle sustained injuries but are expected to be okay. The driver stayed at the scene of the accident and has been cooperating with police in their investigation.
