Chula Vista, CA – Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Crash on Third Ave Near Naples St

Chula Vista, CA (April 14, 2019) – A motorcycle-vehicle accident occurred Friday afternoon that injured one person.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this injury accident. According to CHP officers, the crash happened around 3:05 p.m. April 12, on northbound Third Avenue near Naples Street.

The rider sustained traumatic injuries to his head and lower extremities after colliding with a van Friday afternoon on Third Avenue near Naples Street.

Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid. The rider was transported to UC San Diego Medical Center in San Diego for treatment and further evaluation. He remains in critical condition.

The investigation into this crash is ongoing.
