Chula Vista, CA – Raul Agundez Killed in Fatal Accident at F Street Intersection

Chula Vista, CA (February 15, 2019) – Police reported that 54-year-old Raul Agundez was the motorcyclist who lost his life in a fatal accident at a Chula Vista intersection. The accident took place this morning around 6:00 a.m. at the intersection of Broadway and F Street.

At the time, Agundez had been riding his motorcycle northbound on Broadway through the intersection when a sedan started making a left turn in front of his motorcycle. Agundez was unable to stop at the time and his motorcycle collided with the vehicle.

Paramedics responded to the accident and attempted to revive Aundez but they were unable to do so. He tragically passed away at the scene of the crash.

The two people in the vehicle suffered various minor injuries. The driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident at this time.
