Citrus Heights, CA – Motorcyclist Involved in Traffic Accident at Madison and San Juan Avenues
Citrus Heights, CA (July 18, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported a traffic accident involving a motorcyclist took place at the intersection of Madison and San Juan Avenues. The incident occurred at approximately 12:13 PM in the afternoon on Sunday, July 15, 2018. Authorities have not released details concerning the identities of the motorcyclist or the motorist involved in the crash at this time.
According to the CHP report, an unidentified individual was riding a motorcycle eastbound on Madison Avenue as a gold Chrysler Pacifica was heading north down San Juan. At some point, both vehicles entered the intersection of both streets and collided for indeterminate reasons.
Afterward, the Sacramento Fire Department and paramedics were dispatched to the scene of the accident and assisted the injured motorcyclist. The rider was found conscious and in stable condition and did not suffer serious injuries during the crash. Paramedics administered treatment to the victim at the site.
CHP did not reveal if the motorist remained at the scene or sustained injuries of any sort.
Presently, law enforcement officials are attempting to determine why this crash took place.
