Coarsegold, CA. 1 Dead in Fatal Car Crash on Highway 41

Coarsegold, CA. (July 1, 2018) – One person was pronounced dead following a motor vehicle accident that occurred Saturday afternoon on Highway 41, according to a local and reliable news source. The fatal car crash took place at around 4:00 p.m. in Coarsegold near Yosemite Springs Parkway.

According to the article, the California Highway Patrol stated that a blue Volkswagen Golf and a gray Chevrolet Equinox were the two vehicles involved in a head-on collision for reasons that are currently unknown. Upon arriving on the scene, responders found one person reportedly lying down in the roadway following the crash. Paramedics on the scene had confirmed that at least one person was dead in the crash.
