California’s Fatal Motorcycle Crashes

According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, 4,976 people were killed in motorcycle accidents in 2017. This is out of a total of 40,000 vehicle-related deaths that year. Considering that there are far fewer motorcycles on the roads in the US than cars, the 4,976 total is quite alarming.
