Vehicle Accidents in California
Over 100,000 vehicle accidents result in injuries every year in California. Depending on the severity of the accident, injuries can be minor, severe, catastrophic, or fatal. Fortunately, none of the injured victims lost their lives in this collision. However, even though injuries appear minor at first, it’s important to have a medical professional check for any internal injuries, including soft tissue damage. Because more than one person may have suffered injuries, it’s likely that multiple personal injury lawsuits will be filed.
When filing personal injury lawsuits to receive compensation for injuries or vehicle damages, the plaintiff must prove that the defendant partook in wrongful conduct. In order to prove this, plaintiffs must collect all medical reports, police reports, and any other available evidence. If the plaintiff wins their case, they may be entitled to reimbursement for medical expenses, loss of wages, emotional trauma, pain, and more.
