Contra Costa, CA. Motor Vehicle Accident Involving 4 Cars on 680 Freeway
Contra Costa, CA. (June 27, 2018) – According to the California Highway Patrol, four vehicles collided Wednesday morning which caused at least one serious injury. The crash reportedly happened at approximately 11:08 a.m. Wednesday morning in the southbound lanes of 680 Freeway, north of Stone Valley Road in Contra Costa.
A gray Toyota Avalon, a blue Toyota Camry, and a gray SUV along with a fourth vehicle were reportedly all involved in the crash. According to reports, at least one person was injured in the collision, and that person was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment. Prior to the scene being cleared, the vehicles involved were apparently blocking the highway. A detailed investigation into the crash is currently ongoing in order to determine who may be held liable.
